It’s finally time! If you’ve been missing Dimension 20‘s “Neverafter”, you’ll be excited to hear you can own one of the many miniatures from their most recent horror-themed season. Actually, you can even get your hands on some of the bigger pieces! That’s right, for the 3rd Dimension 20 auction, some of the big minis (maxis) will be up for auction!
This time there will be almost 90 minis and maxis, including all three variants of the player characters, the wolf soup, and even that spicy orange fairy. The auction kicks off today with 30 minis and will roll out in waves, with each wave launching at 3 PM Eastern over the next few Mondays, the 8th and the 15th specifically. Each wave will be open to bids for only four days.
To take part in the bidding, there is a $5 entrance fee (to prevent fraudulent bids, the whole fee goes to charity). To start, create an auction account here. Browse items here. Then start placing bids! You can do normal bids, by entering any ole number. Or, you can do fancy schmancy automatic bidding, AKA proxy bidding – where you set a maximum price you’re willing to pay for an item and then sit back and let the system make minimum increment bids on your behalf up to that maximum price.
Need another reason to bid? 25% of all the profits generated will go to the TransLatin@ Coalition, an organization for supporting trans immigrants.
Shipping will again be to the US only (an issue Dropout is hoping to resolve for future auctions). But, for those lucky enough to win an auction, each item comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by series creator Brennan Lee Mulligan and the show’s talented Production Designer, Rick Perry.
Each small mini will be shipped with a custom Dimension 20 storage box and stamp stand. And each large mini will be custom packed with a Dimension 20 display plaque.
Want one but don’t want to pay? You’re in luck! Dropout.tv subscribers who are also subscribed to the Dropout newsletter will be eligible to participate in mini giveaways! Winners will be notified via email, so sign up for the newsletter here.
As of day one, the Pumpkin Carriage is the hottest of all the minis and maxis up for bid – currently at a high of $2,000 at 60 bids.
Almost just as popular is Barrel Swordsman 03, with a current bid of $1,501 with a mere 4 bids. Will the other barrel swordsmen fare just as well? Only time will tell.
The first round of player character variants is titled “Once.” Puss in Boots “Pid” and Princess Rosamund du Prix are both hovering at around $1,000 each, Puss with a whooping 83 bids and Rosamund with a select 13 bids. Explore the full list of minis and maxis up for auction in the first wave below:
