Fey Shenanigans and Family Reunions

The night before their perilous journey, the group indulges in some last-minute preparations. Fearne attempts a comical heist of a Chetney-created egg from superfan Waylon Amaredda, offering a mere 69 gold pieces and false claims of a romantic relationship with Chetney. Her mischievous plan backfires when she finds herself caught in a literal claw trap, forcing an awkward admission of her attempted theft.

Meanwhile, Imogen uses Send to reach out to Ira Wendagoth, inviting him to join their Feywild excursion. Ira, who’s been lying low in Kreviris, eagerly accepts the invitation.

A new day starts as the group meets with Keyleth in the Abundant Terrace. After a brief discussion about divine allegiances between Braius, Asmodeus, and the Platinum Dragon, Keyleth Plane Shifts the party to the outskirts of Ligament Manor in the Fey Realm.

Upon arrival, Dorian, a first-time visitor to the Feywild, is awestruck by the otherworldly environment, performing some impromptu music for the seemingly sentient flowers.

At Ligament Manor, they’re greeted by the ever-enigmatic Nana Morri. The reunion is a whirlwind of emotions and introductions, with Nana Morri taking a particular interest in Braius.

Where are you from? You smell like shadow and bad choices” – Nana Morri

Chetney presents Nana Morri with a piece of the broken Ruidian glass scythe, formed from the body of Predathos, fulfilling his part of their bargain. In return, Birdie Calloway gifts Fearne a necklace made from part of the broken Weave Lens.

Spectral Steeds and Shadowy Schemes

Armed with information and nine six-legged spectral horses conjured by Nana Morri, Bells Hells set their sights on Pravenier, a once-vibrant artist colony now shrouded in death and decay.

Orym‘s spots movement within the ruins – eight or nine dark-armored figures converging on a central temple. With Ira and Imogen cloaked in Invisibility and the party linked through telepathy, they embark on a game of cat and mouse.

Chetney uses Grim Psychometry on one of the corpses, witnessing a vision of the village’s tragic demise from a sudden water poisoning. Laudna sends Pâté to scout ahead, revealing several guards and a jet-black dog with a human face patrolling the area.

Unraveling the Unseelie Plot

As the team stealthily approaches the temple, Imogen flies up invisibly and spots a camouflaged Gloamglut clinging to the side of the building. She watches as Sorrowlord Zathuda and Ludinus Da’leth leap from its back and enter the temple.

Inside, a tense negotiation unfolds between Ludinus‘ simulacrum, Sorrowlord Zathuda, and the Unseelie emissaries. Ludinus berates the Unseelie for their failure to defend the secondary Malleus Key in the Feywild and demands their forces be ready for an Uncanny Ambush during the imminent assault by the Exandrian Accord on the Hellcatch Valley Malleus Key.

A Dance of Deception and Destruction

Realizing they must prevent the Unseelie from joining Ludinus‘ forces, Ira silently dispatches one of the hidden guards, while Chetney, in werewolf form, eliminates another. Dorian successfully charms the patrolling dog-creature, convincing it to leave.

In a moment of inspired chaos, Laudna animates a statue of the Arch Heart inside the temple, alerting their enemies to their presence. Fearne, ever the wild card, casts Transmute Rock, literally dissolving the ground beneath their enemies’ feet and destabilizing a supporting pillar.

The funny thing about fate is the end of the threads are unfocused, cloudy. You can see possibilities, but that’s where the weave of the fate’s threads is important” – Nana Morri

As the temple crumbles and alliances teeter on the brink, Bells Hells find themselves face-to-face with the formidable Gloamglut and the enraged Unseelie representatives.

With each spell cast and sword drawn, the question looms: Can Bells Hells successfully drive a wedge between Ludinus and the Unseelie Court, or will their interference only serve to strengthen this unholy alliance?

TLDR: Bells Hells travel to the Feywild to disrupt a meeting between Ludinus Da’leth and the Unseelie Court. After reuniting with Nana Morri and gathering intel, they infiltrate the abandoned settlement of Pravenier. The group eavesdrops on negotiations between Ludinus, Sorrowlord Zathuda, and Unseelie emissaries. In an attempt to sow discord, they launch an attack, with Fearne destabilizing the temple. The episode ends with Bells Hells facing off against Gloamglut and the Unseelie representatives, poised for a crucial battle that could alter the course of their mission to save Exandria.
