Among Us Go Critical: Epic Critical Role Crossover

Innersloth has pulled off the ultimate sabotage on unsuspecting gamers everywhere. The masterminds behind Among Us have joined forces with the tabletop titans at Critical Role, bringing a touch of Tal’Dorei to the treacherous corridors of deep space.

TLDR: Among Us has unveiled an exciting collaboration with Critical Role, introducing a new cosmetic collection featuring characters from the show. Available through Gilmore’s Curious Cosmicube, the collection includes 29 items such as character skins, hats, and visors. The collection is priced at 110 Stars (roughly $9.99) and is available for a limited time, ending on November 12, 2024.

Exandria Invades the Skeld in Surprising Tabletop-Meets-Space Collaboration

Launched with a gamut of goodies, this collaboration introduces “Gilmore’s Curious Cosmicube” – a treasure trove of 29 cosmetic items that would make even the most discerning Exandrian fashionista swoon. From Jester’s mischievous horns to Vax’ildan’s brooding armor, Crewmates can now cosplay as their favorite heroes (and antiheroes) while desperately trying to complete their tasks.

But what’s the catch, you ask? Well, as in any good D&D campaign, there’s always a price. This particular adventure will set you back 110 Stars (roughly $9.99). However, fear not, for once you’ve unlocked this portal to Exandria, you have until midnight on November 12, 2024 (or more precisely, 7am UTC / 2am ET) to collect every last magical trinket.

But wait, there’s more! Equipping the full Chetney Pock O’Pea ensemble as an Impostor unlocks a special kill animation. That’s right, folks – prepare to witness a full-on werewolf transformation as you dispatch your unsuspecting victims. It’s almost enough to make you want to be the bad guy… almost.

This crossover marks a significant milestone for Critical Role, representing their first major in-game video game content collaboration in years. While the brand has expanded into various media, including television and comics, and created video game brand-sponsored one-shots, they’ve been surprisingly absent in getting their Critical Role branded content into video games. Could this be the first step towards that long-awaited Critical Role video game?

For Among Us, this collab is just another feather in their ever-expanding cap of crossovers. From Arcane to Hololive Productions, the game has become a melting pot of pop culture. But let’s be real – teaming up with the crew that made “How do you want to do this?” a household phrase? That’s a no brainer.

As players scramble to collect every last item – from Artagan’s magnificent brows to the ominously named “Sprinkle is ‘Fine’ Hat” – one thing is clear: the lines between tabletop and digital gaming are blurring fast. Will we see more RPG invasions in our favorite video games?

So, whether you’re a die-hard Critter, an Among Us aficionado, or just someone who appreciates the finer points of digital cosplay, now’s your chance to bring a little magic to your space murders. Just remember – when someone asks if you’re the Impostor, always respond with “You can certainly try… to find out.”
